* Bro. Chuck and Sis. Naomi Wiegand (Denver, CO) - heading to Bara Vieja for a week of ministry

* Bro. Ed Schwartz mentioned on Sunday that in the Haitian capital of Port au Prince, some gangs have taken to kidnapping missionaries for ransom. Please pray for the work of the Gospel in Haiti, especially for Bro. Jan and Sis. Val Gutwein (and family) who will soon be heading there to serve Christ.

What an awesome God we serve!! As we bring our requests and praises before Him, may we remember that He speaks to us "face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend (see Verse for the Week)." What an incredible opportunity! What an incredible privilege! What an incredible responsibility!

Prayer Points for the Kanuri of North Central Africa

Ask God to call people who are willing to go to Africa and share the love of Jesus with the Kanuri.

Pray that God will use the small number of Kanuri believers to share the Gospel with their friends and families.

Pray that God will raise up linguists to translate the Bible into each of the Kanuri languages.

Ask the Holy Spirit to soften the hearts of the Kanuri towards Christians so that they will be receptive to the Gospel.

Take authority over the spiritual principalities and powers that are keeping the Kanuri bound.

Ask God to raise up prayer teams who will begin breaking up the soil through intercession.

Pray that God will grant favor to the missions agencies that are currently targeting the Kanuri.

Ask the Lord to raise up strong local churches among the Kanuri.
