June 27, 2008 To the Ends of the Earth…

Verse for the week:
For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;
(Psalm 102:19-20)

Quote for the week:
Complacency is a deadly foe of all spiritual growth. Acute desire must be present or there will be no manifestation of Christ to His people. He waits to be wanted. Too bad that with many of us He waits so long, so very long, in vain." – A. W. Tozer

Dictator of the week:
Omar Al-Bashir (Sudan)- Check out the link below to hear about the Darfur Genocide in Sudan. Let's pray extra-hard for Omar Al-Bashir as he allows for this hideous conflict.

Other News:
God is waiting to hear our prayers. He is willing to work, act and redeem this earth, but He waits to hear His children ask it of Him. Is God prompting us to prostrate ourselves before Him and intercede for the nations? Yes. Let's remember that as God looks down from heaven he waits to hear the groaning of His faithful ones. He wants--but waits--to release the nations from bondage. Let's not hinder Him any longer. Let's ask Him carry out His will.
