Ramadan Wrapup
October 12, 2007 To The Ends of The Earth
Verse of the Week
And when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having each one a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou was slain, and didst purchase unto God with thy blood men of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation, and madest them to be unto our God a kingdom and priests; and they reign upon earth. (Rev 5:8-10)
To The Ends of the Earth - Did Our Prayers Matter?
Today (Friday) is the last day of Ramadan. We've spent 5 of the last 6 weeks praying for Muslims. Did it make a difference? I'm convinced it did. The Bible says it did. The reality is that God has been stirring people to pray for Muslims during the last several decades. Fifteen years ago, a group of Christians began publishing a prayer guide for Ramadan. Today, millions of born-again Christians use this prayer guide. The result? In the past 25 years more Muslims have become Christians than in the past 1,250 years combined. Prayer works. It's a fact. There is an incredible amount of work to be done, but God is on the move! Thanks for praying during Ramadan. Praise the Lamb that was slain! We'll return to our normal format next week.
