March 2, 2007 To The Ends of The Earth…

Verse for the week:
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strong holds) - - 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

Quote for the week:
"While women weep, as they do now, I'll fight; while children go hungry, as they do now I'll fight; while men go to prison, in and out, in and out, as they do now, I'll fight; while there is a drunkard left, while there is a poor lost girl upon the streets, while there remains one dark soul without the light of God, I'll fight - I'll fight to the very end!" - William Booth

Other News:
Do we pray as if we're at war? How many times in Scripture is our spiritual walk likened to warfare? Do we REALLY believe that we are at war with a malicious, heartless, and cunning foe? Do we REALLY believe that prayer sends the enemy running? I'm afraid I often forget. On my very, very best day, I am no match for Satan. But on my worst day, if I cry out to Jesus in faith, Satan is no match for the King to Whom I'm praying. May each of us ask the question, "Do I pray as if I'm at war?" If not, may we all realize that war has indeed been declared ON US and that if we aren't faithfully and frequently praying, we have no chance of defeating the enemy and bringing Christ's rule to the earth.
