ANSWERED PRAYERS!!
SPECIAL EDITION To The Ends of The Earth…
Verse for the week:
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jer 33:3
Quote for the week:
"Beware in your prayers, above everything else, of limiting God, not only by unbelief, but by fancying that you know what He can do. Expect unexpected things ‘above all that we ask or think’. Each time, before you Intercede, be quiet first, and worship God in His glory. Think of what He can do, and how He delights to hear the prayers of His redeemed people. Think of your place and privilege in Christ, and expect great things!" - Andrew Murray
Answered Prayer!!
As we enter 2007, may we NOT forget that we serve a God who answers prayers! Do we expect Him to answer? Do we trust Him to do what He has promised to do in His word? God has given a great encouragement to us! Last week's prayer request is below:
"Pray for Muslims this weekend, as many of them will be making their annual pilgrimage (hajj) to Mecca. Please pray for safety for the travelers (the crowds can become quite large) and that they would be spiritually perceptive to the one true God. Pray also for missionaries to Muslims."
Now, please click on these two news articles - one from last year's pilgrimage and one from this year's.

I ask you brothers and sisters - did God respond to our prayers? Of course He did! This year's pilgrimage was the biggest ever and had a chance to become a political battlefield. Nothing happened. Not even the normal stampede. Praise God! Now, let's be faithful to pray for spiritual awakening of Muslims around the world! We've got the momentum!
As you and I look out into 2007, will we be bold in our prayers? What are some mighty things for the Kingdom that you'd like to see in 2007? Take it to Jesus in prayer!! As the Quote of the Week says, "expect great things." Let's not limit God in 2007! Brothers and sisters, I wish you a blessed New Year and great boldness, fervency, and frequency in prayer in 2007! You are all a blessing to the nations!
Your Prayer Partner,
Joe G.

"The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray." - Samuel Chadwick
