Verse for the week:
Verse for the week:
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
Quote for the week:
Evangelism is a way of life - not a task. Becky Pippert
People Group of the week:
Pray for Muslims this weekend, as many of them will be making their annual pilgrimmage (hajj) to Mecca. Please pray for safety for the travelers (the crowds can become quite large) and that they would be spiritually perceptive to the one true God. Pray also for missionaries to Muslims.

Other News:
Ephesians reminds us that we have been created with a purpose - a life that glorifies God as we reach out to the lost. This week, tens of thousands of Muslims will make a difficult trek to the city of Mecca in order to receive favor from Allah. May we each be especially prayerful for Muslims at this time of year - and may our lives reflect the fact that reaching the lost is a lifestyle rather than a task.

Joe G.

"The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray." - Samuel Chadwick
