Verse for the week:
According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness. Ps 48:10

Quote for the week:
Give me the love that leads the way, The faith that nothing can dismay, The hope no disappointments tire, The passion that will burn like fire, Let me not sink to be a clod: Make me Thy fuel, Flame of God. - Amy Carmichael

Other News:
I know I've mentioned this before, but I often am convicted about how little my emotions reflect the gravity of the world's current condition. I find myself getting more upset about petty circumstances in my own life than the horrific, unthinkable conditions in Sudan (see People Group of the Week) or the billions of unredeemed souls in the world. How small-sighted! I love when Amy Carmichael says that she wants a "passion that burns like fire." May God give us holy devotion and Christ-centered ambition. May He refine us with a passionate fire. May the things that break His heart be the things that break ours...until His glory shines all around us and to the ends of the earth! Let's continue to persevere in faith-filled, expectant, and sincere prayer!! God bless EACH of you!
