Other News:
The Quote of the Week used to always irritate me. It seemed like the "easy way out." Just pray. You don't need to say anything. But I think I totally misunderstood the quote. It's not a matter of doing one to the exclusion of the other; rather, it's an understanding of where the power and priority of evangelism really is. It's not in our ability to boldly proclaim the Gospel or articulate it in an understandable manner (although these things are good to do). The power is in God's supernatural power to penetrate the darkness of the human soul - and that power is unleashed when we pray. A slick presentation means nothing if not supernaturally empowered by prayer. I like the Quote of the Week!

"The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray." - Samuel Chadwick
