Other News:
We recently celebrated the 4th of July. This is a wonderful time for us to identify with our American heritage. However, I sometimes find myself viewing the world through the lens of patriotism and not through the lens of prayer. When is the last time I cried out to God for the souls of the suicide bombers in Iraq? When is the last time I made intercession for the loud and confrontational leaders in Iran...in Venezuela...in North Korea? We wrestle not against flesh and blood. Just something to think about.
