To The Ends of The Earth
Verse for the week:
And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered;
(Rom 8:26)
Quote for the week:
"The true spirit of prayer is no other than God's own Spirit dwelling in the hearts of the saints. And as this spirit comes from God, so doth it naturally tend to God in holy breathings and pantings. It naturally leads to God, to converse with Him by prayer."
Jonathan Edwards

Other News:
Romans tells us that the Spirit "maketh intercession" for us. Couple this verse with the Quote of the Week, and we begin to see that our prayer life is a good measure of the Spirit's presence in our lives. The Spirit cannot thrive in us without prayer, nor can our prayer lives flourish without the Spirit. They are inseparable. This leads to an interesting prayer request - asking God to give us more of the Spirit's presence so that we can pray more effectively. What an awesome request!
