"When we go to God by prayer, the devil knows we go to fetch strength against him, and therefore he opposeth us all he can." - Richard Sibbes

Other News:
First off, please continue to pray for the mid-winter Elder's Conference.

Secondly, let's remember that in our spiritual battle against the forces of darkness, Satan hates nothing more than our prayers. Satan doesn't so much mind that we sit in church for 3 hours per week so long as we don't pray for 3 hours per week. Satan doesn't mind that we're up to our ears in ministry, as long as we're not praying. Satan knows that we're no match for him (and without prayer, we're practically on our own). Satan also knows that he's no match for Jesus. Jesus works when we pray. Satan loses when we pray. We win when Satan loses. Let's pray!
